Dr. Dan Williams, 83, of Reeds, passed away 9:10 a.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his residence. He was born to Eulis and Lillie (Salyer) Williams on January 23, 1934 in Red Bush, Kentucky. He shared 83 years and 30 days with us.
He lived in Louisville, Kentucky and then moved to the Orlando, Florida area where he spent 35 years as a dentist. He married Christine Henderson on September 18, 1976 in Claremont, Florida. They moved to Missouri in 1995.
Dan attended the Freedom Christian Fellowship in Sarcoxie, Missouri. He was a pilot and loved flying. He also was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. He loved to work on antique clocks. He loved history and religious bibles of which he had many. He loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Laura and brother Jack.
Dan is survived by his wife Christine, of the home, his children Steve (Johnna) Williams, Eureka Springs, Mary Williams, Johnson City, Tennessee and Robert Williams, Stone Mountain, Georgia, his step-children Larry Michael (Myra) Mitchell, Reeds, MO and David Mitchell, Joplin, MO, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
